Marin Arts Council Artists' Spring Open Studios 2011

Dates May 7, 8, 14, 15  for all Studio Locations.

Each spring the Marin Arts Council sponsors the Artists Spring Open Studios-Sausalito, which now are held on the first two weekends in May. Over 80  talented ICB artists will be opening their doors for this festive event. For more information about this event click on this link Marin Arts Council.

The new format simply means that the dates associated with specific geographic locations is no longer. It simply means all participating artists/studios in all geographic locations, will now open their studios on "Two consecutive Weekends"

ICB's Annual December Winter Open Studios 2011

On the first weekend in December "2cd, 3rd and 4th", the Industrial Center Building Community of Artists welcome visitors to experience the annual Artists Open Studios Event, which has been a Sausalito tradition for 40 + years.

Sausalito is well known to be an "Art Mecca" in the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. This is an opportunity to meet the artists in their studios and to view their works of art. More than 80 artists studios will be open to the public for these two days.

This event affords the visitors no better place to find exceptional art works i.e. Sculptures, Paintings, Prints, Fabric Artists, Photography, Unique crafts and Special Gifts, while also enjoying the savings that are offered when you buy directly from the artists.

The ICB Location is nestled close to the San Francisco Bay, toward the North end of Sausalito, (see map) this landmark historic building is steeped in the area's ship building roots, and rekindled by the creative juices of a vibrant community of artists. Plan on spending the day in Sausalito visiting the picturesque, Mediterranean ambiance and its waterfront venues and stunning views.

The view from Sausalito to San Francisco is one of most popular viewing vistas and photographed points of interest in Northern California. Your days end will be well served by enjoying the areas fine cuisine.

Think of a day in Sausalito as a mini Holiday ... in the Bay Area. Then mark your calendar for the  Spring event in early may.
